Research Interest
Discovery new biosynthetic pathways and key genes for natural plant isopentenyl phenols; study enzyme catalytic mechanisms and engineering better mutants with higher catalytic activities and selectivity. Achieving microbial biosynthesis of isopentenyl phenols via means of synthetic biology and metabolic engineering.
